Premium Amenities

As described earlier, this whole community and city of Madinat Jumeirah comprises of various amenities and hide-outs in the vicinity of this vibrant neighborhood. It comprises of an all encompassing community center, retail centers, play areas, parks and luscious grassy open areas, fitness centers and swimming pools, as well as an ample space for basement parking for residents. This immaculate community also features designated parking spaces for guests as well as day care centers for families with children. In addition to all these, Madinat Jumeirah also comprises of shaded walkways, jogging and racing tracks as well as open walking spaces for the residents.

To the right of Burj Al Arab is the sandy beach of the same name which is about 900 metres long and in some parts up to 200 metres wide. It can be very easily reached via the Jumeirah Road, one of Dubai’s main roads. There are several car parking possibilities, but these require payment and are often full.

The short name of the beach is Burj Beach and it is divided into two areas, the boundaries of which are shown by a yellow flag.

To the left of the flag is the surfing area which gets busy particularly in the afternoon and which is suitable for beginners as well as more advanced surfers. Although there is no outlet directly at the beach, nearby is a surfboard hire outlet which also offers courses for beginners.

To the right of the surfing area is the official swimming area where water-sport activities are not allowed and where you can therefore really enjoy swimming undisturbed. A mixture of families and couples are to be found here looking for a relaxed day at the beach.

The promenade directly at the beach is ideal for running because of its surface which is gentle on your knees. There is also some exercise equipment here where you can use up your energy after a relaxed day at the beach.

Burj Al Arab Beach is very popular with everybody and you will find a mixture of nationalities here, which gives this beach its own quite special charm.
